陆瞻云出生于有着家学渊源的文学世家,常与其亲族诗文唱和。她婚后清贫的生活环境对其宗陶诗风的形成有着决定性作用;在与汪亮的诗文酬唱中,也能看到女诗人对自身婚后生活状况及隐逸超脱个性特征的表现。陆瞻云的诗歌在思想内容上,注重描写正积极的归隐情结,其笔下的日常生活亦与陶诗非常相似;创作题材上,陆诗多表现农田桑事等田园生活,既关注社会现实,又有享受隐居生活的摹写;语言风格方面,陆诗质朴清新与深沉豪迈之风并存。
