摘要
将育人属性界定为高校办学特色本质属性的依据是:办学的核心是办"教育";育人是高校第一职能;高校学科建设的根本目的是提升育人质量。在对办学特色内涵的界定上,不能简单地解析概念或将学科特色等同于办学特色。明确育人属性是高校办学特色的本质属性,目的在于坚守育人是办学的根本出发点,不至于因为追求"特色"而淡化育人这一根本。
The reason to define the attribute of "educating talents" as the essence attrib- ute of running a university is as follows: the core of running a school is "education"; educating talents is the prior function of universities; the ultimate goal of disciplinary development in universities is to enhance the quality of "educating talents". Neither merely analyzing concepts nor confusing the idea of "discipline development" with "running a university" can help delineate the distinguishing characteristics of university-running. Thus it's important to stress that to define the attribute of "educating talents" as the essence characteristic of running a university aims to focus on educating talents, rather than merely pursuing the socalled "distinguishing features".
