On Higher Education Coordinate Development in Zhejiang with Population and Economic Society in the Following Decade

高等教育的协调发展是高等教育发展的理想状态,与人口、社会、经济、科技、资源、环境等因素密切相关。未来十年浙江高等教育与人口、经济社会的协调发展应重点关注三个方面:一是适当控制校均在校生规模,积极争取省外优质生源;二是大力发展研究生教育,做强本科生教育,做实高等职业和专科生教育;三是学科专业建设以"应用领先,基础突破"为指向,与产业结构调整方向保持一致。

Higher education coordinate development is the ideal state of higher education development, which is closely related to demographic, social, economic, science and technology, resources and environment and other factors. In the following decade, there＇re three aspects which should be paid more attention for higher education coordinate development with population and economic society in Zhejiang. First, to control the enrollment students scale of each college within measure, and attract high quality students from other provinces; secondly, to develop the postgraduate education rapidly, strengthen the undergraduate edu- cation, and deepen higher vocational education and specialty education; thirdly, to construct disciplines and specialties under the orientation of ＂application supreme, basic research breakthrough＂, consistent with the direction of industrial restructure.
