Brief Discussion on Highway Alignment Safety Design

公路交通安全是一个涉及人、车、路、环境多方面因素的综合性问题,探讨了与公路线形安全设计有关的标准、速度以及与驾驶员相关的视觉和心理等因素,要求在公路线形设计中充分考虑人、车和环境的特性,灵活运用设计指标,使公路线形连续、均衡,符合驾驶员的期望,公路交通更安全、更人性化。

Highway traffic safety is a comprehensive issue involving many factors of people, vehicles, roads and environment. Standards and speed related to highway alignment safety design as well as visual and psychologi- cal factors related to drivers are discussed. It is required to take characteristics of people, vehicles, and environ- ment into full account in highway alignment design and apply design index flexibly so as to make highway alignment continuous and balanced meeting the expectation of drivers and make highway traffic safer and more humanized.
