基于DSP的人民币序列号识别系统的研究

Research of RMB Serial Number Identification System Based on DSP

介绍了一种基于DSP的人民币序列号识别系统,可自动识别并记录下通过该系统的人民币序列号,从而实现对人民币序列号的信息化管理。系统选用DSP与CPLD双核心架构,采用图像倾斜校正、二值化、中值滤波、字符定位、特征提取与特征识别等多种手段来采集与识别人民币的序列号;利用先进的二叉树、穿越特征、外围特征等算法判定已知字符的唯一性;同时可利用USB通信与PC配合,完成对识别后的人民币序列号的数据库管理。该系统可以实现不同版本、不同面额的人民币序列号识别,具有良好的实时性、可靠性和便携性等优点。

A RMB serial number identification system based on DSP is introduced, which can automatic identification and record the RMB serial numbers through the system and achieve on the RMB serial numbers information management. The system chooses the dual core framework of DSP and CPLD, collect and recognize the RMB serial numbers through image tilt correction, binary, median filtering, characters orientation, feature extraction and characteristics identification processes. It can judge the uniqueness of known characters through advanced binary tree, through characteristics and pe- ripheral features. It can also use USB communication to cooperate with PC and completed the database management of RMB serial numbers after identification. The system can recognize different versions and different denominations of notes. The system is characterized by good real-time performance, re- liability and portability, etc.
