词汇教学是大学英语语言教学的一个基础,是应用语言学研究的重要领域之一。大学英语词汇教学应该遵循一定的教学原则,采用有效的教学方法,并大力推进教学改革,不断丰富教学内容,从而激发学生的词汇学习兴趣,提高词汇教学的效率,为培养学生的英语综合应用能力打下良好的基础。

The teaching of vocabulary is the basis of college English teaching and one of the important research areas in applied linguistics. It is argued that vocabulary teaching should adhere to some teaching principles and adopt some effective teaching methods. And we should also step up our efforts to reform the teaching and keep developing the contents of the teaching of vocabulary, with the hope to stimulate students~ interest in the learning of vocabulary, improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching and lay a good foundation for developing students~ ability to use English in an all-round way.
