On the Sports during the Ruling of New Guangxi Clique

新桂系时期,对广西体育事业发展比较重视,制定了明确的发展规划。20世纪30年代初至抗战爆发前,广西的学校和民众体育呈现蓬勃发展的局面。抗战时期,广西大中城市的体育活动开展得比较活跃,促进了广西近代体育事业的发展。

During the ruling of New Guangxi Clique, more emphasis was paid on the development of sports in Guangxi, and they made a clear development plan. The schools and the people of Guangxi had seen vigorous development in sports from the early 1930s to the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War. Big and medium cities in Guangxi had more active sports activities during the War period, which promoted the development of modern sports in Guangxi.
