摘要
为了帮助理工科本科新生顺利、有效地完成大学两年的英语学习,并给他们提供更高效的词汇学习指导,笔者开展了目前的相关研究。运用问卷的方式调查了204名理工科本科新生在英语词汇学习过程中所持的英语词汇学习观念,以及英语词汇学习策略的使用情况,通过统计和分析得出四项主要结论,并总结出对教学的启示。希望此项研究能为英语教师进行英语词汇策略培训提供科学的数据信息。
In order to help the freshmen accomplish their two-year English learning effectively and successfully and offer better vocabulary instruction to them, the authoress conducted the current study. Using the ques- tionnaire, she investigated into the English vocabulary learning beliefs and the utilization of English vocabu- lary learning strategies of 204 freshmen majoring in science and engineering. By statistics and analysis, four major conclusions and some pedagogical implications have been drawn. It is hoped that this research result can supply scientific data information about vocabulary strategies training for English teachers
