The structure features of retarding box castings used in heavy truck have been simply introduced with structure features and technology requirements for the casting of main core, emphasis in optimal design of the structure and parts of core shooter, side slide box, core box and underframe, and comments on projects. The ergonomics, aesthetics and golden section ration have been applied to the purpose of designing cold core box with suitable and handsome effect.
