Objective To study how to perform ultrasonic diagnosis in the field shelter system for disaster relief. Mothods The features of the casualties in earthquake were analyzed, the necessity and requirements of ultrasonic diagnosis were discussed. The advantages, disadvantages, improvements and trends were explored also. Results The characteristics and signifieances of ultrasonic diagnosis in the field shelter system were summarized. Conclusion Field medical shelter system and ultrasonic diagnosis are very important for the treatment of the casualties.
