新中国民族院校60多年来的发展历程,是其发展目标、培养模式、内在结构等随着社会历史的变迁而不断调整、演变、提升和优化的过程。通过百万各民族干部和专业技术人才的培养、富有特色理论和应用性成果的推出,民族院校有力地推动了少数民族和民族地区的经济和社会发展进程,支持了民族团结、国家统一大业。经过长期的实践、探索和总结,民族院校也积累了丰厚的办学经验,为今后进一步深化教育体制改革、实现可持续发展奠定了坚实的基础。

Over the past 60 years, the development goal, cultivating mode and internal structure of national institutions in China witnessed constant adjustments, evolutions, promotions and optimizing with social and historical changes. With cultivation of millions of ethnic cadres and professionals, and intro- duction of theories with characteristics and achievements of applicability, national institutions forcefully push forward the economy and social development of ethnic groups and ethnic area, support national uni- ty. With long-term practice, exploration and summary, national institutions also rich experience in school management, which has laid a solid foundation for further deepening education reform and achieving sustainable development.
