The Exploration of Significance and Strategies about Transport Development in Northwest Ethnic Areas

本文从我国经济社会及交通事业发展实际出发,提出中国交通事业发展战略应尽快转向西部地区,尤其重点转向西北民族地区;探讨了构建西北民族地区交通运输网络急需建设的几项大型交通工程,并提出西北民族地区交通建设资金的筹措方案。

Based on the economic society and transport development in China, the paper points out that the strategies of transport development should move to western parts, especially to the Northwest ethnic areas. In addition, it also explores several large transport projects which contribute to the construction of transportation network, meanwhile, some financing programs for transport construction of Northwest areas have been put forward.
