A Study on Construction and Sustainable Development of Iron Ore Resources Utilization Demonstration base

"十二五"及今后一个时期,我国工业化、城镇化加速发展,资源刚性需求持续增长,资源环境约束不断强化,迫切需要从开源节流、国际国内等多渠道提高能源资源的保障能力。开展铁矿资源综合利用示范基地建设,大幅提高铁矿资源利用效率和水平,就是从"开源"角度提出的一项重要举措,具有特殊的战略和现实意义。以铁矿资源综合利用示范基地为例,探索了低品位铁矿资源综合利用的有效途径,为我国铁矿资源的可持续发展提供借鉴。

During the ＂12th Five - Year Plan＂ period and its next years, with the accelerating development of our country＇s industrialization and urbanization, the rigid demand for resources continues to grow, resource and environmental constraints continue to strengthen, and the support capa- bilities of energy and resources need to improved urgently, both by tapping new resources and by economical utilization, at home and abroad. The iron ore resources utilization demonstration base construction is an important measure of that can significantly improve the efficiency and level of iron ore resources utilization. Taking the iron ore resources utilization demonstration base as an exam- ple, this paper makes a discussion on how to effectively use low - grade iron ores. It can provide a reference for the sustainable development of China＇s iron ore resources.
