近年来,高职高专教育在我国的发展对高职专业英语教学提出了更高的要求,本文从目前高职高专院校英语专业的教学目标和课程教学改革的总体思路入手,针对如何完善教学方法、构建新型教学模式,探讨了提高高职院校英语专业的教学效果和教学质量的途径,从而对目前我国高职院校英语专业教学的现状与问题进行了较为全面的分析,进而提出了对高职英语专业教学发展与改革的几点思考和应对策略。对高职高专英语专业毕业生的能力培养和就业前景具有十分重要的理论和现实意义。

In recent years, the development of higher vocational education in China in- structed a higher demand for higher voca- tional teaching of English major. The paper started from the teaching objectives and the general idea curriculum reform of English major in higher vocational colleges, for how to improve teaching methods and build a new teaching model, to explore the way to improve the teaching effectiveness and teaching quality of higher vocational English, thus made a more comprehensive analysis of the status quo and problems of English teaching in higher vocational col- leges in China, and then put forward some thoughts and coping strategies on the de- velopment and reform of higher vocational English teaching. It has a very important theoretical and practical significance for the capacity -building and employment prospects of graduates of higher vocational Endish major.
