The Progress of Electronic Records Archives(ERA)Program

美国电子文件档案馆项目(ERA)经过最初的系统设计和长达十多年的建设,从2011年开始进入了全面运营阶段。本文简要介绍了ERA的增量开发方式和开发阶段,回顾了ERA近十年的建设成果,最后阐述了ERA在现阶段的运营和使用状况,可为我国数字档案馆建设提供参考和借鉴。

Since 1998, the National Archives and Records Administration CNARA） has been developing an Electronic Record Archives （ERA） to preserve the electronic records of the government and ensure contin- uing access to the documentary heritage. During more than 10 years of construction, ERA has completed the development of ERA System and moved to full operation stage in 2011. This paper firstly introduces the in- cremental development methods and phrases,then reviews the ERA＇s achievements of decade, last analyses the operation and use of ERA in Operations and Maintenance CO ＆ M） phrase, hoping to provide references for the construction of the digital archives in China.
