农村社区村民对人民调解的认知情况调查——以新疆大丰镇为个案

Investigation into the Cognitive Situation toward People's Mediation from Rural Community Villagers: a Case Study of Da Feng Town in Xinjiang

人民调解制度自建立以来便在纠纷化解方面(尤其是农村地区)扮演着重要角色,被誉为控制矛盾、化解纠纷的"第一道防线"。然而,一方面,农村社会对人民调解的现实需求大,另一方面,农村民众对人民调解的认识程度较浅。这一现实矛盾事实上困扰着人民调解制度的完善。遂本文以新疆某地农村社区为个案,以实地调查结果为依据,从实践层面论述农村社区村民对人民调解的认知及认可程度,以期对农村人民调解法制化提供有益参考。

Since the establishment of people＇s mediation system, it plays an important role in the dispute reso lution （especially in rural areas）, which is praised as ＂the first line of defense＂ that controls conflicts and resolves disputes. However, on one hand, there is a large demand of peopleg mediation in rural society ; on the other hand, villagers＂ understanding of people＇s mediation is rather superficial. In fact, this actual contradiction perplexes the improvement of people＇s mediation system. Taking a rural community in Xinjiang as an example and based on the field investigation results, this paper expounds villagers＂ cognitive and approval degree toward people＇s mediation from the practical level, expecting to provide beneficial references to legalization of rural oeoDle＇s mediation.
