The Influence of Fu Lei's Painting Theory upon His Translation Theory

Fu Lei translated many literary works and constructed his distinct system of translation theory, which was closely related to his profound attainments in the field of art. Based on Fu Lei＇s painting theory, this paper explores the correspondences of his painting and translation theories from creator＇s personal attainment, spirit likeness theory and equilibrium concept and analyzes the influence of Fu Lei＇s painting theory upon his translation theory.
