The production principle and process flow of flake caustic soda are introduced. Matters needing attention in the selection of materials of devices, such as alkali solution tank, boiling pot, feed supplement pump, discharge pump and flaking machine, are analyzed as well as the appropriate materials. The anticorrosion measures adopted to prolong the service life of these devices are elaborated.
