摘要
进一步发展Internet业务需要增大带宽并且要有移动性 ,因而卫星网与IP网结合成了热门话题。针对卫星网的信道差错率高、传播延迟长和信道不对称性对TCP传播性能有不良影响 ,简单介绍了前向纠错和自动重传两种链路差错控制方案 ;着重介绍了对TCP协议 (包括基本TCP、选择性确认、非对称性和ACK控制等几个方面 )的改进。最后 ,讨论了IPover卫星和IPover卫星ATM两种卫星IP网络技术。
Further development of Internet requires the increase of access bandwidth while the demand for mobile Internet is ever increasing. Therefore, satellite IP network becomes a hot topic of today. Some of the inherent features of satellite network such as large propagation delay, increased bit error rate and network asymmetry impact the obtaining of good TCP performance. To guarantee the reliable end to end data transfer, many effective solutions to promote the satellite TCP performance are proposed. While promoting TCP, people carry out profound research on IP over satellite ATM. To transmit TCP/IP service over satellite ATM network, both TCP scheme and ATM scheme need to be improved. IP over satellite ATM technology will allow satellite communications to play more important role in world information infrastructure, of which the technical advance is worth following with interest.
