摘要
时分双工 (TDD)是一种通信系统的双工方式 ,在移动通信系统中用于分离接收和传送信道。移动通信目前正向第三代发展 ,中国于 1997年 6月提交了第三代移动通信标准草案 (TD SCDMA) ,其TDD模式及智能天线新技术等特色受到高度评价并成三个主要候选标准之一。在第一代和第二代移动通信系统中FDD模式一统天下 ,TDD模式没有引导起重视。但由于新业务的需要和新技术的发展 ,以及TDD模式的许多优势 ,TDD模式将日益受到重视。
Time Division Duplex (TDD) is a kind of duplex method of communication system, by which uplink and downlink transmissions are time separated in mobile communications. This paper tries to discuss TDD technique for the third generation mobile communication system based on R&D experience of TD SCDMA, including basic principle of TDD, the importance of adopting TDD, TDD system in ITU RTT draft of IMT 2000, advantages of TDD, problems of TDD and so on.
