读懂国内外英语报刊是高校英语课程教学的新要求。对非英语专业新生英语报刊阅读现状的调查表明,学生普遍存在着不懂读报策略、媒介素养偏低等问题。教师应对症下药,进行阅读技能训练,利用网络拓展阅读教学,培养和加强学生的综合能力和素养。

Reading domestic and foreign English journals and newspapers is the new requirement to college English teaching. The survey on the current status of English newspaper reading among non - English majors shows that they have poor command of reading strategy, and low media literacy. It is beneficial to train their reading skills, extend reading course with network to cultivate students comprehensive ability and qualities.
