Its characteristics can be summed as of multi-levels, multi-forms, dynamic, positivist and contradictory. The school effectiveness assessment research is faced with the challenges of excessively more indicators, less focus on the student effectiveness, and with no comprehensiveness of the standard of school effectiveness assessment. Therefore, in the future, the research on school effectiveness assessment should pay more attention to the more accurate indicators system of school effectiveness assessment, students＇ effectiveness, more extensive and comprehensive research of students＇ indicators.
