Exploration on Xi Chenghui Event

苏州同盟会成员为倒程迎陈发起的洗程会事件,被江苏都督程德全事先得知并很快扫除。洗程会的失败,反映了袁世凯成为大总统后与立宪派人士、旧官僚相结合,打压革命派,革命势力因此受挫的变化。革命派内部的分裂、涣散也是民国初期从掌握政权到逐渐丧失的重要原因。
