The task-based learning is the basic idea of the language applications into the new classroom teaching with practical significance. This paper describes the basic idea of task-based learning, a detailed analysis of its basic principles and in College English Teaching applications, and pointed out that the task-based learning methods could stimulate students＇ enthusiasm and initiative.
