摘要
目的:研究环氧化酶-2(COX-2)、血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)在口腔黏膜鳞状细胞癌组织中的表达,探讨它们之间的相互关系和临床意义。方法:应用免疫组化方法检测COX-2、VEGF在54例口腔黏膜鳞癌组织中的表达,分析它们的表达情况以及各指标之间的相互关系。结果:COX-2与VEGF在口腔黏膜鳞癌组织中蛋白阳性表达率分别为55.6%、62.5%;COX-2与VEGF的表达随着口腔癌病理分级及临床分期的上升而呈上升趋势(P<0.05),且两者之间存在明显的正相关性(P<0.05)。结论:COX-2和VEGF在口腔黏膜鳞癌组织中均高表达,与口腔黏膜鳞癌的生物学行为密切相关,并在其发生发展中起重要作用,有望作为口腔黏膜鳞癌早期诊断和治疗的新靶点。
Objective: To investigate the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in oral mucosa squamous cell carcinoma tissue, and to explore the relationship and significance of them. Methods: The expression of COX-2 and VEGF in 54 cases of oral mucosa squamous cell carcinoma tissue were detected by immunohistochemistry SP staining and its correlations to clinicopathologic features were ana lyzed. Results: The positive expression rate of COX-2 and VEGF was 55.6%, 62.5 % respectively. The positive expression of COX-2 and VEGF was correlated with pathological grade, TNM stage and tumor recurrence (P〈0. 05). There were positive correlations between the expression of COX-2 and VEGF (r= 0. 549, P〈0.05). Conclusion: The expression of COX-2 and VEGF are both higher, and they are closely correlated to biological action of oral mucosa carcinoma that play an important role in its development. It may be used as new targets for early diagnosis and treatment of patients with oral mucosa squamous cell carcinoma.
