后语境下均衡型“V+N”类歧义结构的加工研究

A study of balanced V+N ambiguous phrase processing in post context

本研究采用Eyelink II型眼动仪为记录工具,以36名大学生为被试,探讨被试对均衡型"V+N"类歧义结构在后语境下的加工情况。研究发现:1)均衡型"V+N"类歧义结构在动宾语境续接条件下出现加工困难,被试实际上是按照定中义进行加工的,这与该结构的使用频率、名动差异以及人们的认知策略密切相关;2)在加工早期和晚期,解歧区和解歧后区等兴趣区上均出现了歧义性效应。这一结论既不支持基于制约的模型,也不支持模块化模型,而是支持非限制竞赛模型。

This visual mapping experiment investigates the process of V+N ambiguous phrases in post context in terms of the data collected by the Eyelink II eye-tracker from the reading of 36 college students.The results show that 1) readers experience greater processing difficulty with the balanced V +N ambiguous phrases followed by verb-object context.Balanced V +N ambiguous phrases are processed as an attributive-head relationship by subjects,which is closely related to the frequency at which people use these structures,N-V discrepancy,and people's cognitive strategies;2) ambiguous effects are found both in the initial stage and at the end of the process in which disambiguous regions are concerned with.The results are consistent with the unrestricted race model instead of the modular model and the constraint-based model.
