摘要
将性别与认同1结合进行的语言习得研究,视语言学习为一种社会活动,将学习者看作是参与社会活动的实体,而性别则是构成学习者社会认同的关键因素之一。通过采用叙事性研究、批判民族志等方法,这一派研究旨在构建一套更加适合学生需求,激发学习动机,鼓励学生积极改变的教学内容和方式。随着中国力量的上升,世界语言教学界的目光正在转向中国的英语及对外汉语教学,其研究思路与本文所述基本一致,可为我国未来的语言教学研究提供有益的信息和启示。
This article explores the current trend of gendered research in language learning where learners are considered a social agent,and gender is taken as a complex system of social relations and discursive practices which affects the construction of their social identity.Adopting narrative research and critical ethnography as the approaches,the research with its focus on identity and gender aims to establish a pedagogy which meets students' needs,inspires their learning motivations and encourages them to change for the better.Finally,the article discusses possible research perspectives in Chinese context.
