The Tibetan-Chinese Legal Dictionary, compiled by the Higher People＇s Court of Qinghai Province, was published on April 18, 2012. It fills a gap for Tibetan-Chinese dictionaries about legal terms in courts in Tibet, sets a precedent for Chinese judicial institutions to compile large-scale Tibetan-Chinese legal dictionaries, and standardizes the application of bi-lingual terms for trials in Tibet.
