教育本质作为教育学的一个重要的理论问题,长期以来受到了人们的重视。教育本质论争的理论价值在于:本体论上的价值有助于揭示教育规律,认识论上的价值有助于认识教育的本质,价值论上的价值有助于进行价值判断,方法论上的价值有助于改进研究的范式,矛盾论上的价值有助于认识教育的特殊矛盾;实践价值主要表现在:规范价值有助于使教育实践按照教育本质的要求发展,行动价值有助于使教育实践按照教育规律办事,现实价值有助于革除教育的时弊。

As a theoretical proposition,educational essence is paid a great attention.The value of the debates over the educational essence lies in that the ontology helps disclose educational laws,while the epistemology helps recognize the educational essence.Likewise,the value assessment,methodology,contradictions,norms,actions,and reality each is practical to help obey the educational laws,or solve educational problems.
