对于《伤逝》中的爱情悲剧,历来大多从外部环境找原因,特别是经济原因。若究其根源,还应从人性的角度去找原因。其实在鲁迅看来,《伤逝》爱情悲剧的发生是不可避免的,原因在于主人公对爱情持有太浪漫太理想的期待,更在于涓生作为男性的自私,在于人性中自私的一面,在于从古至今不变的这种自私的人性。鲁迅通过《伤逝》,向人们展示了那种被普遍歌颂的理想爱情的虚无与不切实际,揭示了追求自由与爱情的艰巨性。

For the explanation of the love tragedy of Mourning for the Past , most people have always looked for the reason from the external environment condition, especially economic reason. But to find its essential cause we must analyze the tragedy in terms of human nature, we can know the tragic emergence is inevitable in Lu Xun＇ s views, because the protagonist hold too romantic and too ideal expectation to the love, because of the selfishness of man, the selfish side in the human nature which is not changed from ancient times to the present. Lu Xun has shown the nihility and impractical of that kind of ideal love through Mourning for the Past.
