纵观国内外,从"两性关系""俄狄浦斯情结""女权主义"和"伦理道德"等视角对劳伦斯作品解读的文章和著述为数颇多,生态批评视域下的关照还不多见。从生态批评角度解读劳伦斯的《查泰莱夫人的情人》,可以得出如下启示:人类不但要注重自然生态,更要重视维护精神生态平衡。这一启示将唤起人们对人类未来审慎的思考。

Throughout home and abroad, there are abundant interpretations about D. H. Lawrence＇ s works, such as the interpretations by ＂sexual relationship＂,＂ Oedipus complex＂ ,＂ Feminism＂ and ＂ethics and morali- ty＂. As a critical theory, ecological criticism was put forward in the 1970s, but wasn＇t established until the mid of 1990s. This article is trying to interpret Lady Chatterley＇ s Lover from the angle of ecological criticism, trying to emphasize that the development of human being needs to be in a harmonious state with nature; in the process of developing, we not only need to pay attention to natural ecology, but also spiritual ecology. By changing the angle of interpretation, a profound thinking about our future is raised.
