发明家社会英雄形象的确立与演变

Establishing the Images of Inventors' Social Hero and Its Evolvement

历史上,发明家被社会广泛认同,成为社会英雄的时期并不多见,也不久远。发明家不必然是社会英雄,在古代中国不存在发明家的社会英雄形象。发明家成为社会英雄,本身是一种现代性现象,主要出现在19世纪中后期的英美等现代西方社会。在发明家成为社会英雄过程中,企业家-发明家和科学家-发明家这类复合型发明家角色发挥关键作用。

There were not so muc.h or so remote time when inventors were widely accepted as social heroes in human history. Inventor are not necessarily social heroes, and there was not inventors＇ public image of social heroes in Chinese antiquity. That inventors become social heroes is a modernity＇s phenomenon, it appeared in the West society such as Britain,USA during the middle and later period of the 19 century. In ad- dition, entrepreneur-inventor and scientist-inventor play the leading role during the process of inventors becoming social heroes.
