This thesis summarizes the primary causes for designs and innovation of men's silk ties, the development of domestic men's tie brands and their current situation, and proposes the approaches for the designs and innovation of men's silk tie brands. It deems that the development of modern social and cultural life motivates the innovation of traditional silk tie brands. To satisfy the requirements of careers of men consumers who pursue the life quality, the design of domestic men's silk tie goes towards the direction that integrates emotions and cultural connotation. To have innovative application in the design of modern tie brands, it is necessary for traditional silk ties to break inherent stiff modes, integrate design elements that accord with the aesthetics of modern people based on innovation and beauty, endow modern silk ties with some fashion and emotion as well as improves the taste of silk tie brands so that they can met international tendency of fashion.
