数字图书馆的建设者和使用者往往来自不同的文化背景,文化差异在数字资源的传播中通过可用性影响过程的顺利实施。文化包含多个层面和多种元素,不同层面和元素对数字图书馆可用性有不同的影响。其中,语言、文化隐喻与文化心理是文化的核心要素,在跨文化可用性建设中具有重要作用。文化心理差异对于数字资源的传播过程具有显著的影响,国际化是数字图书馆跨文化可用性建设的重点。

Due to divergent cultural backgrounds of the creator and users for digital libraries, cultural differ- ence might exert effect on the spreading of digital resources in terms of usability. Culture is a system containing various layers and elements, meaning to usability differently. Language, cultural metaphors and cultural psy- chology are key cultural elements significant to cultural usability. Of the cultural elements above, the difference of cuhural psychology between creators and users of digital libraries plays a vital role in the process of digital resource delivery. Internationalization shall be the priority factors in usability of digital libraries.
