Homosexuals' attitudes toward the real-name HIV testing system in Kunming

目的:了解昆明市同性恋人群对HIV检测实名制的态度并分析其特点和原因,评估检测实名制的可行性,讨论如何为昆明市同性恋人群提供更有效的检测服务。方法:通过网络问卷,采用非概率的抽样方法收集到145个有效样本。结果:在HIV初筛实名制下,将有一半以上的昆明市同性恋人群不愿去检测。结论:在同性恋人群中应该采取HIV初筛匿名和确证实名的政策,形成疾控、医院和同性恋草根组织三位一体的综合性检测模式。

Objectives： To learn about homosexuals＇ attitudes toward the real- name HIV testing system in Kunming, to analyze characteristics and reasons of their attitudes, to assess the feasibility of the policy and to discuss how to provide more ef- fective testing services for homosexuals in Kunming. Methods： Via on - line questionnaire, 145 valid samples were collected through non - probability sampling method. Results： In HIV preliminary screening, if the real - name system is adopted, more than half of homosexuals in Kunming will not go for testing. Conclusions ： For homosexuals, anonymity should be adopted in HIV preliminary screening and the real - name system should be adopted in the confirmation of HIV. CDC, hospitals and homosexual grassroots organizations should work together to form a comprehensive detection system.
