Efficacy of Scopolamine in treating 76 cases of infant asthma

目的 探讨东莨菪碱对婴幼儿哮喘的临床疗效。方法 148例随机分为治疗组和对照组 ,两组在应用抗感染、平喘、抗过敏基础上 ,治疗组加用东莨菪碱。结果 治疗组开始平喘、止咳、口罗音消失及住院的天数均少于对照组(P <0 0 1)。

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of Scopolamine in the treatment of infant asthma(IA). Methods: 148 cases of IA were randomly divided into a treatment group(n=76) and a control group(n=72). Both groups took antibiotics, Aminophylline and Promethazine. The treatment group also took Scopolamine with a dose of 0 02～0 04 mg·Kg -1 ·d -1 intravenously. Results: Days of hospitalization of the treatment group were significantly fewer than those of the control group. Moreover,relief of pant, cough and lung rale in the treatment group was faster(P<0 01). Conclusion: Scopolamine is fit for treating infant asthma.
