随着当代中国社会经济的不断发展,传统的、单一的、碎片化的社会保障制度已越来越不能够适应社会的要求,社会成员对生活质量越来越高的要求产生了对完善的社会福利体系的强烈需求,人们对社会福利的认知也日益深化。社会工作作为实现社会福利的手段,传送和实施着社会福利,文章重点就社会工作在社会福利体系中的重要作用进行了探讨。

With the economic development of contemporary Chinese society, the traditional singleness and fragmenta- tion of social security system have become less able to adapt to the requirements of society development. Social members have created a strong demand of comprehensive social welfare system with the demands of higher quality of life, and their awareness on social welfare is deepening. As an important part of social welfare system, social work plays the role of delivering and implementing of social welfare. Chinese professional social work should and must play the unique and irreplaceable role in the process of social welfare system constructinz.
