摘要
大学英语教学改革的特点之一是利用多媒体技术,为学生提供良好的语言与学习环境。第四军医大学外语教研室于2011年秋季起实行大学英语教学改革,采用了清华大学出版社出版的《新时代交互英语视听说》教材。本文针对2011年秋季学期、2012年春季学期两个学期教材的使用情况,采取定性与定量的研究方法进行实证调查。结果证明,通过使用该教材,学生提高了听说水平,增强了自主学习能力,有效实现了大学英语教学改革的目标。
One of the requirements of college English reform is to utilize the multimedia technology to offer students an effective language learning environment. Since the fall of 2011, Department of Foreign Languages in the Fourth Military Medical University has applied the Viewing, Listening & Speaking Courses of New Era Interactive English to reform traditional college English teaching model. By examining the result of application of the course in fall semester in 2011 and spring semester in 2012, qualitative and quantitative approaches are adopted in the empirical research. Results show that students' listening and speaking ability and autonomic learning ability have been improved, meeting the requirements by the reform of college English teaching.
