The paper summarized the features of China coal import and export in the recent years and analyzed the main causes affected to the variation of the coal import and export. Base on analysis on the demands and supply tendencies of each main import coal countries and the coal export destinations in the near future, the paper had a prediction on the coal import and export tendency and quantity during ＂the ＂12th Five-Years Planning＂ .
