Effects of Media Convergence on the United Front in a Social Transformation Period

媒介融合是世界新闻传播事业发展的必然趋势。在全媒体时代,统战工作只有借助全新的媒体平台才能实现"了解情况、掌握政策、调整关系、安排人事"的基本职能。媒介融合给统战工作带来"四利"和"四不利"。四利:一利宣传,二利感化,三利交互,四利公关。四不利则表现在:(1)易放大谬误,酿成事件;(2)易消解情感,形成斥反;(3)易隐蔽破坏,分化统战;(4)易浮于表面,流于形式。文章还对统战工作创新提出了七点认识。

Media convergence is an irresistible trend of the world journalism. In the age of new media, united front work can play basic functions in situation understanding, policy mastery, relation adjustment and personnel arrangement with the new media platform. Media convergence brings four advantages such as receiving publicity, influencing, interaction and obtaining effective public relation. Meanwhile it brings four disadvantages. First, magnification of errors can lead to some big issues. Second, it can change the mass emotion into disgusted with rejection to certain issues. Third, it tends to cover different opinions and differentiate the united front. Fourth, it tends to stay in the superficial stage and pay much attention to the form. Therefore, seven suggestions to innovate united front work are proposed in this paper.
