The training of English Majors has made came into existence, among which the problem of great progress these years. Meanwhile, many problems humanistic education arouses more and more attention from scholars. The professional education has to solve the problem of how to enhance students＇ language skills and humanistic literacy as well within the limited class hours. The paper investigates the background and causes of the problem, points out the urgency of solving the problem and comes up with several sug- gestions.
