Language process is closely related with mental activity and psychological activity. Psycholin- guists analyze the application and learning process of languages through cognitive theories, including men- tal lexicon. The paper focuses on the intense relationship between mental lexicon analysis and cognitive psychology study, and insists that lexical study for foreign language learners be based on the cognitive mechanism.
