On Opera Teaching and English Learning: Analysis Teaching of Shakespeare's Two Gentlemen of Verona

西方课堂已将戏剧教学作为语言学习的一种先进理念和工具,被广泛接受和推广。以莎士比亚的作品《维洛那二绅士》为教学范本,深入分析其主题和角色性格特点,并提出适应教学需要的改编意见,进行教学设想,探讨戏剧教学的可行性。

Opera teaching has been widely accepted and taken as an advanced idea and teaching method in western class. The present paper elaborates the teaching sample of Shakespeare＇ s Two Gentlemen of Vero- na in terms of theme and characters. Teaching assumptions and the application of opera teaching was put forward in the process of teaching adaption.
