摘要
在竞争激烈的教育环境下,如何保持学校竞争力和持续性发展是每一所高校面临的挑战。以美国密苏里州林登沃德大学为例,从教育体制、办学模式、课程设置、教学管理、教学方式、后勤服务、德育教育、奖学金制度等方面,探讨美国高校多样性、自治性和竞争性的特征,分析美国高校"以人为本"的人性化教育管理理念,阐述美国高校专才教育和通才教育并兼的特点以及唯才是举、自由开放、严谨求索的价值观。
In the fierce competition of educational environment, how to keep the school competitiveness and sustainable development is a challenge for all universities. The paper analyzes the characteristics of diversity, autonomy and competitiveness of American universities and illustrates the concept of ＂student-oriented＂ humane education management, the emphasis on both professional and general education and the values of freedom, openness, talent-oriented, rigorous pursuit of American universities from the education system, school running mode, curriculum setting, teaching management, teaching mode, logistics services, moral education, scholarship system in Lindenwood University, Missouri, USA.
