Agricuhural information science is the discipline foundation and theory basis of agricultural informatization.This article defines the basic meaning of agricultural informaties, explains the emergence and development of Agricultural Informatics, analyzes the branches of Agricultural Informatics and innovation of Information Technology in Agriculture, look forward to the development trends of agricultural informatics and the development prospects of agricultural information services.
