The traditional handicraft products and sales means encountered development predicament with the personalized demand growing. This paper focused on the folk arts and crafts of Ningbo gold lacquer wood carving of the productive protection. It integrated modern product design ideas into Ningbo gold lacquer wood carving design development, found a solution to the problem of rational development, and provided methodological guidance for heritage in the context of modern design.
