摘要
基于现代认知理论,对莎士比亚悲剧作品《奥瑟罗》的三位主要施喻者(苔丝狄蒙娜、伊阿古和奥瑟罗)在隐喻过程中构建的源领域和目标领域进行对比分析,以此探讨各施喻者的认知特点及思维方式,从而更好地把握隐喻在塑造悲剧人物内心世界、构建悲剧冲突中的作用。
Based on the modern cognitive theory about metaphor,a comparative study is conducted on the source and target domains in the conceptual metaphors constructed by the three addressers(Desdemona,Iago and Othello) in Shakespeare's tragedy Othello,so as to explore their cognitive features as well as the function of metaphors on the characterization and the development of tragic conflict.
