On Chinese-English Translation of Tourism Materials from Sino-western Cultural Differences

针对河南省旅游资料翻译中存在的问题,探讨文化与旅游资料翻译的关系。河南旅游资料翻译应采取解释法、增补法、省略法、改译法,在翻译过程中还应注意文化信息的传递。

Tourism materials contain the abundant cultural factors,it also plays a vital role in the Henan Province＇ Tourism Culture Communication.Study found that there are still cultural differences in the translation of Henan Province.This paper explores the relationship of culture and the Chinese-English translation of tourism materials,analyzes translation examples in our province,summarizes the various translation methods,and pointed out that as a good translator,he should be fluent in two languages,and understand the cultural differences between the two countries.Only in this way,we can promote the development of tourism in our province.
