This reform could be said to have historical significance as China has realized that it cannot continue growing at its current pace of development. Many top manufacturing companies that have been experiencing slow or even negative growth have come to realize that the era of focusing on large-scale expansion has already passed and that new rules of competition and survival are taking its place.For many Chinese enterprises adapting to fit this new environment has become a very real and urgent choice.
