高校图书馆除了肩负为本校服务的功能外,还应大力推进其社会化服务的功能建设。对美国高校图书馆在细分服务对象、开展馆际合作、与社会机构合作以及提供在线学习支持等方面的较为成熟的社会化服务进行了案例研究,总结了美国高校图书馆的服务特色。

In addition to shoulder the function of serving the university, university libraries should promote the construction of their function of socialized services. This paper makes the case study of university libraries in America in aspects of conducting the subdivision of service objects, promoting the interlibrary cooperation, cooperating with social institutions, and providing the online learning support, etc., and sums up the service features of university libraries in America.
